Led by African American women, this all-girl program was designed to guide young ladies, in grades 6-8, through a process of self-awareness and enlightenment. By participating in various interactive modules, CLD aims to increase self-esteem, develop a better understanding of self-worth and to explore character traits which may heighten or hinder the pursuit of excellence. Together, Precious Miss participants will explore friendships and relationships, develop a positive body image and learn about the importance of education and Indianapolis Youth Development.
