This workshop is designed to inform students and families about the new high school readiness seals. The structure of The New Diploma is a base diploma that everyone will need to earn. Optional honors seals may be added to the base diploma. Honor seals are earned through specific coursework, academic performance, work-based learning, and attendance. Differing seals having differing requirements.
This session highlights the legacy and opportunities of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Students will gain exposure to HBCU culture, programs, and scholarships while understanding the importance of academic preparation. Students will gain tools and tips you need to successfully matriculate and graduate in four years.
This workshop helps incoming/current middle school students navigate the transition to middle school with confidence. Students will explore time management, communication, and healthy decision-making skills to set them up for success.
