INDIANAPOLIS– On Friday, November 1, 2019, the Center for Leadership Development (CLD) welcomed Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology’s Dexter Jordan, Dr. Tom Bear, and alumni as an official CLD College Partner; a historic day for both organizations as Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology committed to awarding up to 10 full tuition or full need scholarships to high achieving CLD Scholars annually.
CLD’s College Success Coordinator, John C. Turner, said, “Center for Leadership Development has anticipated partnering with Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology for many years and we all couldn’t be more excited that it is finally happening. Having the opportunity to send some of Indianapolis’ most incredible CLD Scholars to Rose-Hulman to complete their college degrees at the nation’s number one undergraduate institution for engineering is a dream come true for us here at CLD and so many black and minority youth will benefit from this historic partnership for years to come!”
Rose-Hulman joins CLD’s other 25 scholarship granting partners as the #1 engineering school in the nation for undergraduates with the desire to draw more African American students from Central Indiana towards a career in technology.
