Role Model / Advisor Experience

Grade Levels:

During Role Model/Advisor Experience, students grades 8-12th, and college freshmen will have the opportunity to converse and network with top African American professionals from various career fields. Professionals will share details about the education and skills required in their field, work ethics, and daily routines as well as personal challenges and growth opportunities. Parents/Supportive adults will attend separate workshops focused on how to support their child in their academic and career pursuits. This Indianapolis Youth Development initiative provides empowering parent sessions and aids students in making informed career path decisions.

Role Model/Advisor Experience takes place one day, once a year. Participants are encouraged to apply early.
