CLD High School Shadow Exprience

The event is the “CLD High School Shadow Experience.” It is a free event and it is for 7th and 8th graders. It is for students only. It will take place on Thursday, July 30, 2024 from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The students will get a chance to tour Lawrence Central High School and the McKenzie Center for Innovation and Technology (both schools are in the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township).

The purpose of the event is for the 7th and 8th graders to be able to take a tour of a big city high school and be exposed to the different academic, athletic and extracurricular offerings available to them. the goal is for them to be better prepared for when they actually go to high school in that they will have more knowledge about the opportunities that await them when they enter high school.
