FAFSA Info Night

What Is “FAFSA Info Night”?

FAFSA Info Night is for prospective college students!  This event provides students and families with the opportunity to learn about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  CLD partner, INvestEd will make a presentation on FAFSA, answer questions and be available to assist students and families in completing and submitting the FAFSA.  Students and families, please have your Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID) created and paperwork ready for INvestEd to assist you.  The Indiana Commission for Higher Education (CHE) will also be on hand to make a presentation on the 21st Century Scholars Program.  The 21st Century Scholars Program scholarship pays for the tuition costs for Indiana students that attend participating State of Indiana institutions.  The CHE will make a presentation, answer questions about the scholarship program and be available to assist students and families in checking their CLD Scholar Track status and learning how the students would maintain their eligibility.

We will also have a College Fair where students and families can have the opportunity to speak with and network with admission representatives from the colleges and universities about topics such as: their academic offerings, leadership opportunities, professional development opportunities, study abroad programs, research interests, graduate degree opportunities, and job placement opportunities.

CLD is excited to have institutions in attendance at the College Fair portion of the event.

Students and families, we look forward to seeing you in attendance and we are eager and excited to work with you in your pursuit of academic excellence.
