Purdue Agriculture Initiative

Grade Levels:

Are you a 10th – 12th grader who’s interested in the agriculture field and/or STEM or STEM related fields?

CLD’s Purdue Agriculture Initiative, presented in partnership with Purdue University, provides Indianapolis Youth Development students and supportive adults with the opportunity to engage in hands-on projects, learn more about the industry, tour Purdue’s campus and experience the School of Agriculture’s program.

Potential Career Fields: Agriculture Sciences Education & Communication, Applied Meteorology & Climatology, Aquatic Sciences, Botany & Plant Pathology, Botany, Crop Science, Entomology (Insect Biology), Farm Management, Fermentation Science, Forestry & Natural Resources, Natural Resources & Environmental Science, Science, Soil & Water Sciences, Technology, and Wildlife.
