JR. SELF-DISCOVERY/CAREER EXPLORATION PROJECT (JR. SDCE)
You are never too young to start thinking and planning for your future career! Jr. Self-Discovery/Career Exploration Project is a program designed for 4th- 6th graders that will help them identify their interests, values, personality and start them on their career path NOW. Students will interact with their peers and skilled facilitators to equip themselves with the tools for success, in school, in work and in life.
This exciting program will help your 4th-6th grader discover:
- Who am I?
- How do I connect with the world?
- How can I prepare for my future?
- How can I decide who to follow?
- How do I show regard for others?
- How do I make a difference?
Session 1 – Understanding Who I Am: Beginning Our Journey of Self-Discovery
Session 2 – Connecting with the World: Recognizing Healthy Home Family and Relationships
Session 3 – Learning for a Lifetime: Defining Successful Learning Behaviors
Session 4 – Preparing for My Future: Defining Successful Learning Behaviors
Session 5 – Deciding Who to Follow: Recognizing Leadership Qualities
Session 6 – Regarding Others: Comparing Ethics, Manners and Etiquette
Session 7 – Staying Well and Fit: Practicing Healthy Habits
Session 8 – Making a Difference: Describing Community Involvement
