Role Model/Advisor Experience
The Role Model/Advisor Experience gives students grades 8-12th, college freshmen, and parents/caring adults the opportunity to hear from, and network with, top African American professionals in various career fields who share details of the education and skills required in their field, work ethics, daily routines, personal challenges and growth opportunities. This initiative also provides empowering parent sessions and teaches the pros and cons to each chosen profession.
Fields that have been presented on include:

- Cardiac Surgery
- Engineering
- Registered Nursing
- Law
- Education
- Journalism
- Sports Marketing
- Music Producing
- Graphic Art
- Entrepreneurship
- And more!
Role Model/Advisor Experience takes place for one day, once a year. Participants are encouraged to apply early to reserve their spot for this great initiative presented by African-American professionals and Center for Leadership Development!
